From the moment Karl and Pat stepped on the 60 acres in Alexander, NC, they felt a deep connection with the land. Much of our journey at wildernessFusion is about creating and embodying place. The land is abundant in history and medicine. The French Broad river is the 3rd oldest river in the world, older than the Appalachian mountains it passes through. It travels over 200 miles from North Carolina to Tennessee where it feeds the Tennessee River. This rich land along the French Broad river will be a place for all of the wildernessFusion community. The property held the first wildernessFusion class on March 1st 2019.
We look forward to convening and manifesting here for powerful transformation.
During class, we find that having our students sleep on the earth is an amazing tool to deepen the experience of class. While exploring the forests and riverbanks, you'll find an abundance of campsites to choose from. Camping is free and if you need to rent a tent and sleeping pad from us, the cost is $25/weekend, or $50/week. Please contact our registrar, Lanie at: registrar@wildernessFusion.com at least 2 weeks before class.
As part of our facilities, we have an outdoor kitchen that will provide all of your meals during class. Hot beverages, fruit and nut mixes are also available at all times. If you have specific diet restrictions, please contact our cook, chef@wildernessFusion.com.
We also have outdoor showers and toilets for your use during your stay. If you have any other specific questions, please contact our Logistics Manager onsite, logistics@wildernessFusion.com.
If you have an airbnb account, there are some good options in Alexander or Weaverville, NC to stay that are very close to camp.
